Geierlay suspension bridge (20 km hike)

On the first weekend of the Autumn we will be crossing the Geierlay suspension bridge in Germany towards the end of a hike in the area.

Inspired by the Nepalese suspension bridges, the Geierlay is amongst the ten most visited spots in Germany.

However, with its 360 metres of length and 100 meters above the river, twenty percent of the visitors do not dare to cross it.

Now, if you decide to come with us, you better do cross it, otherwise you will have to take a long detour in order to reach our destination.
