Escapardenne Lee Trail: Michelau – Ettelbruck (15 km hike)

Lee meaning ridge in Luxembourgish, with its ca. 54 km, the Lee Trail is one of the most emblematic hiking paths in Luxembourg.

So far we have done the third leg between Kautenbach and Goebelsmühle, the second between Goebelsmühle and Michelau and a custom-made loop around Molberlee.

Now we propose to complete the trail by walking its first leg between Michelau and Ettelbruck, featuring the Victor Hugo Trail and the Patton Memorial.

The first kilometer is a hard ascent and between the second and third there is a moderate ascent. The rest should be fairly easy for our standards. Check the ups and downs.

The 10:15 train from Luxembourg arrives to Michelau at 10:50 and takes 35 minutes.

This one is not a loop. There are numerous trains and buses to return from Ettelbruck to Luxembourg.
