Natural reserve of Haard from Rumelange (20 km hike)

A former industrial complex of quarries and mines, Haard is nowadays the largest natural reserve in the country. We will revisit it from an entirely new perspective.
Starting from the bus stop of Rumelange Gare, we will head south to visit the arboretum and continue southwards to then meander along the French border, following primarily the Trail des Crevasses (chasms). We will next turn north across the Tipp to find the Trail of the Butterflies to finally return south to Rumelange via Um Hesselsbierg.

Bus 601 leaves Gare Rocade (quay 6, behind Luxembourg train station) at 10:26 and arrives to Rumelange at 11:06.
